In the past I have been the Quilt Show Chairman for the Homespun Quilters’ Guild and this year I have volunteered again, but there is a bonus. I have a wonderful Co-Chair this time. Mary M. has graciously offered to help me in this venture. Quilt shows are like parties for me. I get to see my wonderful friends, some whom I haven’t seen for quite some time. We get to visit and ohh and ahh over the great quilts that have been created.
Our show will be here sooner then I think. Put us on your calendar.
It will be at the HOT Fairgrounds Exhibit Building, April 8-9, 2011.

I am in a sewing group called “Sew HOT”. Since we are in central Texas and it is called the “Heart of Texas” the HOT is very appropriate with the heat we are having right now.
In September I will be teaching embossing on velvet. We have 2 meetings. One in Marlin, TX at 1:30PM on the 2nd Wed. That date will be Sept.8, 2010. Our second meeting is in Waco, TX on the 3rd Thurs. at 6:00PM. That date will be Sept. 16.
