Dallas Quilt Show

I belong to a quilt blog group called “The Material Mavens”. Every 2 months one of our members gives us a word as the theme for the next 12″ x 12″ quilt we are to make. This quilt represents what that word means to us. The stories that go with the quilts are wonderful.

At the Dallas Quilt Show March 8-10, 2013 there will be a special exhibit showcasing some of our quilts. Not all of our members will be represented, but those of us who are able to send quilts, have each chosen 5 of our quilts for the exhibit.

Judy's next workshop

Tuesday, August 13 I will be presenting my “Demo/Machine Quilting” Lecture for the Brazos Bluebonnet Quilt Guild. The meeting starts 7 p.m. at the Brazos Center 3232 Briarcrest Drive, Bryan, TX 77802.

Wednesday, August 14 I will be giving my Machine Quilting workshop.

Judy's next lecture

I will be giving the lecture “Tips and Tricks” at the Cotton Patch Quilt Guild meeting on Thursday, March 28, 2013.

They meet at the Kavanaugh United Methodist Church, 2516 Park Street, Greenville, TX. The meeting starts with a potluck meal at 6:30 and the lecture will start at 7:15 p.m.

The Town-N-Country Quilt Guild meeting is held at the Texas A&M Agrilife Research and Extension Center in Stephenville. Address: 1229 North US Hwy 281.
